My name is Irvin and I will provide the band's brief history as the longest active member since the band's inception. Currently, we incorporates both thrash and death metal elements into the songwriting process and will soon express these ideas on the upcoming album due 2023. Influences range from Megadeth to Death to Gojira.
Since 2012, the idea of starting a band was between a friend and I back in middle school. We had it set up under the name of Cazador and soon 2 other friends joined in. Influenced by classic 80's thrash metal and Rock Band, the idea was to continue this style in a modern setting by covering tunes from our favorite bands at the time. However, as time went on, multiple lineup changes unfortunately had to come due to schedule conflicts and busy work schedules. Over time, new members joined in which most came from music schools and mutual acquaintances.
Right now, the band consists of Jon (vocals), Dennis (drums), Tyler (bass), Luis (guitar) and I (guitar) as a 5 piece. Rest assured, the evolution in sound compared from the first album that was recorded years back to the now released 2021 demo teases 3 new tracks from the upcoming album could not have been any clearer in its change of style. It is more sophisticated, odd, heavy, and overall ourselves as musicians. From playing at Reggie's in Chicago to The Wire in Berwyn to Penny Road Pub in Barrington, we are ready to showcase our new EP due in 2026 across the state and soon regional. Keep on moshin'!
